Homage: 1975
Here's the cartoon homage that was produced during Episode 3.
Each week on 50 Years in the Dungeon, while Stan! is interviewing his guests, he also creates a cartoon homage to a classic piece of D&D art. In Episode 3, the focus was on the second year in the game’s history—1975. He chose an interior illustration from the Greyhawk supplement that was also briefly used as the company logo.
Stan! got most of the way through the homage during the livestream. But wasn’t able to complete the coloring within the hour or so that the show covers … so he finished it off screen. Here are the results:
