In Episode 11, Stan! talked with NYT best-selling author, and award-winning game designer Tracy Hickman about his storied career. One of Tracy’s early-but-enduring hits was the 1st edition adventure module I6: Ravenloft, whose cover featured the original painting of the vampire lord Strahd von Zarovich done by the inimitable Clyde Caldwell. So while they chatted, Stan! created a cartoon homage to that classic piece of D&D art.
