During my fun and wide-ranging conversation with Sue Weinlein, I was also working on the cartoon homage to Brom’s cover painting for the 1999 hardcover Campaign Options: Council of Wyrms Setting—a reimagining of the 1996 Origins Award winning boxed set. Like the material inside the book, the cover image took the original (another classic image created by Jeff Easley) and turned the metaphorical volume up to 10 … maybe even 11.
