This Week: Chris Lindsay & 1983 PHB
Chris Lindsay will be our very special guest on this week's show
Chris Lindsay is a 20-year veteran and former D&D Product Manager from Wizards of the Coast. Currently he serves as the Director of Product Development for 5E, at Goodman Games. Chris loves to create games and experiences that bring folks together and change lives for the better.
He’s also one of the brilliant minds behind the launch of the Dungeon Masters’ Guild … and just an incredibly fun person to be around. Join us for Episode 69 on Wednesday at 6pm Pacific.
While they chat, Stan! will begin work on a cartoon homage to Jeff Easley's cover art for the 1983 version of the AD&D Player’s Handbook.
If you have any questions for Chris or Stan!, post them in reply to this message. Remember that if you’re a paid subscriber, your questions get bumped to the head of the queue.
If you’re enjoying the show, please help us grow our audience by sharing it and this newsletter with other folks you know who you think would also find it fun and entertaining. The BIGGEST challenge we have is growing the audience … and the BEST method to do that is word of mouth.

questions for Chris:
- do you think that online networking in its various forms (Facebook groups, Discord LFG channels, RPG matchmaking services, VTTs, etc.) have made organized play programs superfluous or redundant?
- Have the publishing companies merely not 'cracked the code' literally and figuratively to using online services to create Living Campaigns that many people can participate in?
- is the cut that DMs Guild takes too high to encourage more designers releasing stuff on the platform? Could sites such as the DMGuilds do a better job spotlighting quality freelance works?
