Last Wednesday I dove back into my cartoon homage to Dennis Beauvais’s cover painting for Dragon Magazine 86, the first of his classic chess-themed covers. I started this drawing back in Episode 66 as I talked with Bart Carroll, and I’d been itching to get back to it.
As often happens, I completed the line drawings for the piece and left it ready to be colored. Unfortunately, I was too busy this past week to even begin that task … so I’m going to tackle it in this week’s Work in Progress episode.
