This Week's Guest ... Bill Slavicsek
Episode 5 will stream live on Wednesday 2/21 at 6pm Pacific, with special guest Bill Slavicsek.
This week’s episode of 50 Years in the Dungeon will feature our interview with Bill Slavicsek. Bill has been working in the game industry since 1986. Besides authoring (or co-authoring) dozens of great products for D&D and serving as the Director of RPG R&D during the development of 3E, 3.5, and 4E, Bill has been central to the development of other great games like Alternity, d20 Modern, TORG, the Pokémon Jr. Adventure Game, and perhaps most of all, no fewer than three iteration of official roleplaying games for Star Wars.
The cartoon homage this week will focus on 1977, which happens to be the year that Bill first played the game that would ignite his career. We’ll talk about those early days, how he went from being a fan to turning pro, and what he sees in the future for D&D and tabletop roleplaying games in general.
If you have any questions for Bill, post them in a reply to this message. And remember that if you’re a paid subscriber, your questions get bumped to the head of the queue.
And remember, if you can’t make it to the live stream, you can always watch the show on replay over on my YouTube channel.
