This Week's Guest ... Chris Perkins
It's our distinct privilege to welcome D&D's Creative Director, Chris Perkins, as our special guest this week
Chris Perkins has been working on D&D in one form or another for the past 38 years. He has written, edited, and produced numerous products for every edition and currently serves as D&D’s Creative Director. Despite a long history working on TRPGs, Chris's biggest impact on the hobby may come from the Acquisitions Incorporated live shows, his streaming show Dice Camera Action! which launched the modern "live play" video format.
Chris is also far and away the best GM I’ve ever had the pleasure to game with.
Join us in the live chatroom on Wednesday, February 5th, at 6pm Pacific, and I’m CERTAIN you’ll walk away with several nuggets that you’ll want to share at your next TTRPG game. And if you can’t be there for the livestream, look for this episode when it appears in the show’s online archive.
While Stan! chats with Chris, he’ll be working on a cartoon homage to Greg Rutkowski's cover painting for the 2022 hardcover Mordenkainen Presents: Monsters of the Multiverse.
If you have any questions for Chris, post them in reply to this message. Remember that if you’re a paid subscriber, your questions get bumped to the head of the queue.
If you’re enjoying the show, please help us grow our audience by sharing it and this newsletter with other folks you know who you think would also find it fun and entertaining. The BIGGEST challenge we have is growing the audience … and the BEST method to do that is word of mouth.

Okay, this one has generated a LOT of questions:
How many articles did you have published as a freelancer by the time you worked full-time in-house?
What game from the TSR/WOTC archives would you like to revive?
What are your greatest literary influences (your Appendix N)?
What kind of store was it where you first got your stuff?
What is your favorite part of design - rules, lore, adventures, advice, or...?
Are you really the urWizard of liveplay streaming, according to Stan's blurb?
How did you meet Stan?
