This Week's Guest ... David "Zeb" Cook
Game designer and author David "Zeb" Cook will be our special guest this week. Join us in the live chat room Wednesday, May 1 at 6pm Pacific.
David “Zeb” Cook, game designer for 45 years, was hired by Gary Gygax in 1979 to work at TSR. His designs include the D&D Expert Rules, Oriental Adventures, the AD&D 2nd Edition rulebooks, Planescape, Star Frontiers (with Lawrence Schick), Conan, Indiana Jones, the Amazing Engine, and oddities such as Bullwinkle and Rocky in addition to modules, rule supplements, board games, and fantasy novels.
Our conversation with Zeb will stream live on Wednesday, May 1, at 6pm Pacific on YouTube and other platforms.
This week’s cartoon homage will celebrate the 1986 book Queen of the Spiders, which collected the GDQ series of adventure modules.
If you have any questions for Zeb, post them in reply to this message. Remember that if you’re a paid subscriber, your questions get bumped to the head of the queue.
And if you can’t make it to the livestream, you can always watch the episode on demand over at Stan!’s YouTube channel.
If you’re enjoying the show, please help us grow our audience by sharing it and this newsletter with other folks you know who you think would also find it fun and entertaining. The BIGGEST challenge we have is growing the audience … and the BEST method to do that is word of mouth.
