This Week's Guest ... James Wyatt
Join us Wednesday as we talk to game designer & author, James Wyatt
James Wyatt started his career writing articles for Dragon Magazine in the mid 1990s. In 2000, he joined the RPG R&D staff at Wizards of the Coast, and he’s been with the company ever since. He’s worked on four editions of D&D, written the first official crossover material between that game and Magic: the Gathering, and authored a half-dozen novels along the way. This Wednesday, he’ll be our guest on the show.
Join the live chat room on Wednesday, January 29th at 6pm Pacific time.
While Stan! chats with James, he’ll be working on a cartoon homage to Magali Villeneuve's cover painting for the 2021 campaign setting Strixhaven: A Curriculum of Chaos.
If you have any questions for James, post them in reply to this message. Remember that if you’re a paid subscriber, your questions get bumped to the head of the queue.
If you’re enjoying the show, please help us grow our audience by sharing it and this newsletter with other folks you know who you think would also find it fun and entertaining. The BIGGEST challenge we have is growing the audience … and the BEST method to do that is word of mouth.

Given that you got your start in Dragon magazine, what do you think we've lost not having a publication like that? Are there any games from TSR/WOTC of lore and yore that you'd like to bring back (like Gangbusters, Top Secret, Gamma World, etc.)? Is the settings lore from previous editions now considered Apocryphal in 5e? Did you know that Purple Worms are secretly purple dragons?
