This Week's Guest ... Jeff Grubb
Award-winning game designer and author Jeff Grubb will be our special guest when we stream live at 6pm Pacific on Wednesday, April 10.
This week, we welcome Jeff Grubb back to the show. Jeff helped us kick off this series, and now it’s time for him to get the spotlight for himself. He’s the co-creator of many of D&D’s best known campaign settings—Forgotten Realms, Dragonlance, Al-Qadim, Spelljammer, and more—plus he’s written some of the most popular game-related novels ever published—FR: Azure Bonds, DL: Lord Toede, MtG: The Brothers’ War, Star Wars: Scourge, just to name a few.
2024 is the 50th anniversary of Dungeons & Dragons … but it’s also the 40th anniversary of Dragonlance! So this week’s cartoon homage will be of Larry Elmore’s classic painting for the cover of the first DL novel, Dragons of Autumn Twilight.
If you have any questions for Jeff, post them in reply to this message. Remember that if you’re a paid subscriber, your questions get bumped to the head of the queue.
And if you can’t make it to the livestream, you can always watch the episode on demand over at Stan!’s YouTube channel.
If you’re enjoying the show, please help us grow our audience by sharing it and this newsletter with other folks you know who you think would also find it fun and entertaining. The BIGGEST challenge we have is growing the audience … and the BEST method to do that is word of mouth.
