Monte Cook, as most D&D fans will know, has a long history with the game. He was a fan-favorite designer at TSR and Wizards of the Coast, was one of the primary designers for 3rd Edition D&D, pretty much launched the third-party PDF market, and currently is the Creative Director and Lead Designer for Monte Cook Games.
Unlike most weeks, Episode 38 has been pre-recorded because Stan! is attending Gamehole Con. It will be released at the usual livestream time—6pm Pacific time on Wednesday (October 16)—but will only be available on YouTube.
While Stan! chatted with Monte, he worked on a cartoon homage to Wayne Reynolds’s cover painting for the 2008 package of Character Record Sheets.
