Todd Lockwood is an illustrator and author, whose work has appeared on NY Times best-selling novels, magazines, video games, and of course many, many D&D products. He was instrumental in updating the game's visual style for the 21st century and beyond, and continues to blaze trails and set standards for fantasy illustration worldwide.
Todd is currently crowdfunding production of a fully painted picture book of "The Twelve Days of Christmas." Check it out before the end of April.
This week’s cartoon homage will celebrate the 1985 book Unearthed Arcana—which brought new races, classes, and rules expansions to take the game beyond the original Player’s Handbook and Dungeon Master’s Guide. The classic cover painting by Jeff Easley captures both the arcane majesty and sense of whimsy that make Dungeons & Dragons the cultural juggernaut it has become.
