Tonight: WiP + GameHole Con Report
Surprise! There WILL be a show tonight!
Last week I was a Special Guest at GameHole Con in Madison, WI … and it was the first large, out-of town convention I’ve been to in that capacity for several years. Between the travel, the con itself, and the ramped up work schedule I had to give myself to make it happen, I wasn’t really sure I’d be in livestreaming shape this week. But here we are on Wednesday and I’m feeling good—back into my normal sleep pattern, no signs of any sort of con crud, and ready to roll—so I’ve decided to leap in feet first and just have a Work In Progress episode of the show tonight.
I’ll be continuing work on my cartoon homage to Erik Lofgren’s cover painting for The Book of Dungeon Encounters (originally begun in Episode 65, and worked on a few weeks ago in WiP Episode 13).
While I work, I’ll be talking about all the fun I had at GameHole Con. I’ll also be joined by game designer and author Ed Stark—Zone Lead at ZeniMax Online Studios and Special Guest Coordinator for the Philadelphia Area Game Expo—who was also at the show, where he and I ran a very special event together.
Hope you can join us live tonight… but if not, remember that you can always find the replay over on my YouTube channel.
If you’re enjoying the show, please consider sharing it with other folks you think would like it, too. Word of mouth is the BEST way to help the show grow.
And please do consider upgrading your subscription. You’ll get access to process videos for all of the art produced on the show and discounts on all art prints and other show-related merch. Plus you’ll be helping to keep the show going and perhaps even expanding.
