Where to Watch Episode 29
Having covered 25 years of products, we spent some time talking with Bill Slavicsek and Ed Stark about the first half of D&D's history.
We’ve already covered a lot of ground on the show since January, talking about and doing cartoon homage drawings celebrating everything from the earliest digest-sized folios to books made to celebrate D&D’s silver anniversary. It seemed a good time to take a little breather and see what those twenty-five years looked like as a whole. What were the trends, the inflection points, and the highlights? What lessons were learned, and what course was set as the game and the hobby prepared to move into the new millenium?
Stan! discussed these points and more with returning guests Bill Slavicsek (game designer and longtime Director for RPG R&D) and Ed Stark (game designer and longtime Creative Director) … and what a conversation it was. If you missed the livestream, you can always watch the whole thing anytime you like on YouTube.
There was no new cartoon homage this week, but we did look at the 26 images that have already been created on the show.
