Where to Watch Episode 30
If missed Stan!'s discussion of where the show is and where it's going, and his answers your questions about both, here's where you can find it.
The mission of 50 Years in the Dungeon is to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Dungeons & Dragons and the hobby or tabletop roleplaying games. To that end, each week I invite on guests who have worked directly on the game of D&D, and I draw a cartoon homage to a classic piece of art from one year in the game’s history. Week by week, year by year, my goal over the course of this year is to celebrate the complete arc of where the game’s history to this point … and encourage people to keep growing in the hobby as we move forward.
To that end, I used Episode 30 to talk about how I think it’s gone so far, here at the halfway point. I reviewed what the show has a accomplished, and where it’s going next. I talked about the successes, the road bumps, and some course corrections that I’m implementing to make the second half even better than the first.
I’d intended to keep this episode shorter than most … but as happens almost every week on this show, once I started talking, it turned out I had a lot more to say than I thought. If you missed it, you can—as always—watch the entire episode at your leisure on my YouTube channel.
There was no new cartoon homage this week, but I did use the 27 images that have already been created on the show as a slideshow while I made my statement.
If you’re enjoying the show, please consider sharing it with other folks you think would like it, too. Word of mouth is the BEST way to help the show grow.
