Where to Watch Episode 57
If you missed Stan!'s conversation with Jeff Grubb and Steve Winter, here's where to catch the entire thing on demand.
In Episode 56 we technically “completed” the original mission statement for 50 Years in the Dungeon. The goal as this show began in January last year was to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of Dungeons & Dragons and the hobby of Tabletop Roleplaying Games by doing a series of interviews with people who worked directly on D&D over the course of its history, and while doing so, for me to draw a cartoon homage to one piece of classic D&D art from each year of the game’s existence.
To mark this achievement, I decided to do a kind of “after action debrief” with the same guests who had joined me for Episode 1—D&D luminaries Jeff Grubb and Steve Winter. On that first show, we brainstormed what the series might be like and set the ground rules for what was to come. In Episode 57, we looked back at those goals discussed how they played out in reality, and what has been accomplished in the interim.
It was a fun conversation that lasted a full two hours. We reviewed the artwork that’s been created (including the recent pieces that are as yet unfinished) and looked at the entire guest list. And then we talked about what the next steps might be as the show heads into “season 2.”
As always, you can watch the entirety of the episode on demand on my YouTube channel, where you can find ALL the episodes in the series.
